16 Year Anniversary & Halloween Celebration

This year is our 16th Year in Existence and to date we have rescued over 5,000 animals off the streets! Quite an accomplishment for a little group from Northfield who had a dream oh so long ago.

We want to celebrate our milestone as well as raise some much needed money so we can save thousands more! What a better way to share our anniversary than to share it with all of you! We will have donation baskets, silent auction, and items for sale. We hope to raise a lot of money as our expenses can top $6,000 a month for vet bills alone.

Celebrating 15 Years in Rescue

It’s hard to believe that it’s 14 years since I first joined Forever Friends.  Tammi Vasek started the group in 2003 (thank you Tammi!!) and I remember very clearly all those years ago asking her if I could help her do the laundry.  Well – needless to say – many years later the number of responsibilities has increased exponentially but we still have the same dream.  Our dream is that every animal has food, shelter and a loving, caring forever home to call their own no matter what the animals’ circumstances.  To date, we have rescued over 5,000 animals – mostly cats and kittens – but also some dogs and puppies, a tarantula, rabbits, gerbils, birds, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, turtles, etc.  Seems no matter what comes up – we try to help.  We’ve got some amazing stories from over the years of deep in the night rescue missions, hoarding cases we will never forget, and tear-jerking losses.  We continue to focus on the positive and always – no matter what – keep in mind that every animal is so very deserving.  Our goal is to make America – yes America – a No Kill nation as quickly as possible.  While we have an amazing TEAM at FFF – It’s not about us.  It’s about the animals that so desperately deserve love, kindness, and safety.  For those of you who have participated in any type of rescue – our Vet teams, donors, cleaners, fosters, transporters, volunteers in any way – We thank you and salute you.  We are grateful beyond grateful and could not do this without YOU.  Onward and upward to complete the mission!!!

To celebrate our amazing 15 year journey we will be hosting a Fund Raising Event on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Birchwood Banquet & Party Center, 7540 Northfield Road, Walton Hills, OH 44146 from 5PM – 9PM.  Tickets will be available online here and the cost is $35@ and includes food and drinks.  Please consider coming out and celebrating animal rescue with many like-minded dedicated Clevelanders.  We will have some amazing prizes including a week’s stay at Turks and Caikos, sports tickets, incredible Neil Zaza photography, and many other interesting and amazing baskets for raffle.  Come out for an amazing evening of fun, support for the Foundation, and fellowship with fellow Cleveland  Animal lovers!

6th Annual FFF Golf Scramble Fundraiser

Calling all golfers and your golfing buddies:

Please join us at The Fairways at Twin Lakes (1519 Overlook Rd, Kent, OH 44240) on Sunday, September 28th for a fun-filled 4-man scramble. Checkin at 8:30 AM.

Serving lunch on the turn and dinner provided afterwards. $50 entry donation per person.
